Umbare will remove and replace your current baseboards for the highest quality fitment when installing LVT, Porcelain and Ceramic Tile, Natural Stone, and all other flooring systems sold by Umbare Home Remodel Online!
NOTE: Luxury Vinyl Tile, (LVT) does not require baseboard replacement. See LVT FAQ's for more.
Umbare baseboard packages include:
1.) Removal and disposal of the old baseboard.
2.) Installation of new baseboards with either of the two standard baseboards sizes, 3 1/2 inch or 5 1/4 inch.
If you have a custom-sized baseboard or design, Umbare can accommodate this as well, and we will provide the cost during our pre-work inspection.
3.) Painting the new baseboards in your choice of color using Quality Sherwin-Williams® Paint.
4.) Pre-paint prep. Caulking applied to all corners, joints, nail holes, and walls seams.
5.) Walls touch up. Umbare removes the old baseboards with the utmost care, but even then, the walls can be marked by this process. Umbare will touch up the walls with the original paint color.
Note: While Umbare will use the original paint color applied to the walls previously, fading, and other age-related issues may preclude an exact match.
Should you chose to have the baseboards removed and replaced; the cost is as follows:
3 1/2 inch baseboard is $6.29 per linear foot.
5 1/4 inch baseboard is $6.79 per linear foot.
